The Daily Beast is looking for an Account Manager to join our growing marketing team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the sales team in planning, executing and monitoring the digital advertising programs on The Daily Beast’s website. They will also be tasked with supporting The Daily Beast brand initiatives through various marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a sense of urgency and is able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments or partners.
This role will be imperative to supporting our growing business and have high visibility with management.
Partner with creative and sales team to brainstorm and build strategic advertising opportunities in response to advertiser RFPs and brand marketing efforts.
Build strategic, custom media plans to meet campaign KPIs
Partner with sales to build client relationships and act as main point of contact for all post-sale client campaigns and requests
Review insertion orders and manage collection of creative assets, tracking and ad verification from agency contacts.
Coordinate with Ad Operations for set-up, monitoring and optimization of campaigns.
Project manage and coordinate with all internal teams necessary to execute advertising or marketing campaigns
A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Have exceptional oral and written communication skills with a keen ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
A desire to make an impact and feel passionate about the work that you do
Team player who enjoys cross team collaboration
2-4 years of digital experience, ideally in media or sales planning at a publisher or agency
BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience.
