Our Strava for Business team works with brands wanting to engage with the Strava community, delivering an innovative and exciting alternative to standard advertising channels and formats.

As a Demand Generation Manager, you will be working to build awareness and consideration of Strava as a marketing channel to leading brands and their agencies across the world.

You are an expert in building and capturing demand across organic and paid channels, working as a self-starter, with team members and cross-functional partners, as well as managing selected agencies and contractors.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Play a key role in the significant growth potential of our B2B team (Strava Business)
  • Create an efficient and scalable demand generation programme across our industry verticals, specifically concentrating on:
  • Maximise reach and conversion across existing organic and paid media channels
  • Experiment with new formats and channels
  • Optimise demand capture across our owned channels
  • Manage agencies across paid and organic channels
  • Design an Account Based Marketing (ABM) programme across our key accounts
  • Create and manage a demand-focussed tech stack
  • Measure effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead on content strategy, creatives and distribution
  • Work with cross-functional partners to unlock resource where appropriate across Strava
  • Manage external agencies and freelancers to maximise the standard of their output

You will be successful here by:

  • Driving real, measurable growth for our team through marketing initiatives with organic and paid media
  • Successfully prioritising which activities and initiatives drive growth both in the short and medium term
  • Driving initiatives as a self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Not being afraid of change or failure: creating initiatives from scratch that may not work but can drive positive outcomes
  • Showing a clear understanding of how to measure marketing initiatives in an imperfect world and measure return on investment
  • Continuously working to improve our data collection and management processes to help inform our future marketing decisions
  • Solving ambiguous problems with minimal supervision

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a similar B2B marketing role
  • You have demonstrable experience of creating or managing effective demand generation and ABM campaigns
  • You are comfortable working with challenging targets and objectives
  • You are highly knowledgeable about B2B marketing trends, best practices and techniques
  • You have experience working across multiple markets, ideally globally
  • You are comfortable working in a similar size organisation with distributed teams across time zones
  • You understand the role of content in creating demand and can demonstrate creating effective content in past roles
  • You are analytical, able to uncover insights from data with minimal supervision or support
  • You are comfortable thinking strategically and tactically, diving directly into platforms and data to unlock crucial insights
  • You are a lateral thinker and a problem solver at heart
  • You are very comfortable with Hubspot (or similar other CRMs)
  • You are comfortable with a range of demand gen tools, including but not limited to:
  • Lead research tools (for example Clay, Zoominfo, Apollo, Clearbit)
  • Marketing automation tools (for example Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua)
  • Outreach and sequencing tools (for example Outreach, Salesloft etc)
  • Marketing attribution tools (for example Google Analytics, Hockeystack, Dreamdata)
  • You have demonstrable knowledge of how to market advertising solutions and similar services to target brands
