About This Role

The Strava Business team is looking for a growth-minded B2B sales marketer to shape and build the Strava Business marketing function from scratch. in this role you will be marketing Strava business products, like Sponsored Challenges, to our potential partners and sponsors. You will be working closely with the global sponsorship sales and product team, developing our B2B marketing strategy and sales play, building our positioning and narratives for key verticals. You will be responsible for inbound lead generation strategy and execution.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Build out the Strava Business global B2B marketing function from scratch
- Conceptualize and develop ways to bring market awareness to customers about paid for marketing opportunities at Strava
- Develop marketing materials such as decks, infographics and website content to showcase Strava’s paid for marketing opportunities.
- Work with the sales team and vertical leads to build vertical marketing strategies and powerful case studies
- Play a key role in Strava Business achieving sales targets and growth forecasts
- Develop and execute our lead generation marketing strategy and tooling
- Work with the product and sales leadership on new feature roll outs, developing effective go to market strategies
- Report on program results, presenting to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
You will be successful here by:
- Developing a great empathy for our customers across relevant personas and industries
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment where resourcefulness and “getting stuck in and getting the job done” is important
- Bringing and leveraging your understanding of enterprise marketing/sales funnel and account based marketing strategies
- You tackle problems with an open and curious mind and aren’t afraid to ask tough questions and change the status quo.
- Working effectively cross functionally with sales, product, data analysts, community management and B2C marketing teams
- Elevating others and being an advocate for our Anti Racism framework.
We’re excited about you because:
- You have a track record (8+ years) of success in B2B marketing, demand generation or growth roles at fast growing technology companies, with a clear vision of how to build this function from ground up
- You have experience working with CRM platforms such as Hubspot and Salesforce
- You have hands on experience of content creation and syndication
- You have significant executive presence and ease explaining complex ideas to stakeholders and partners.
