Trusty is a critical part of Stacklok’s mission to make it easier for developers to securely develop software. You will play a pivotal role defining compelling and competitively differentiated capabilities, communicating our roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, understanding our users deeply, and bringing new capabilities to market. This is a unique opportunity to drive early product strategy in the confluence of developer tools, AI/ML, and security, and have an outsized impact on product direction at a fast-paced startup.

This will require you to identify differentiating capabilities, understand user needs deeply, and clearly communicate how your vision will drive adoption and business impact.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver and launch new features within the first 6-12 months of joining, evaluate their performance, and iterate quickly. This will require a data-driven approach and an ability to collaborate closely with and influence teams including engineering and marketing.

In this Role, You will have the Opportunity to:

  • Use your deep insights into target markets, the competitive landscape, user needs, and industry trends to inform product strategy and drive short- and long-term feature definition.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators and success metrics for Trusty, and use data and feedback to inform product decisions and priorities.
  • Partner with engineering to drive successful feature releases. You will be engineering’s connection to our users and will be responsible for bringing them along for the ride.
  • Engage frequently with users and community members to learn about their needs, and envision and deliver new capabilities from concept to launch and rollout.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product marketing.

We know from experience that not ticking every box on the skills sections stops many from applying. Please apply regardless of your self-assessment -- we want to hear from you! We have seen team members succeed with a diverse range of skills and experiences.

  • Proven experience delivering multiple products from concept to adoption in the developer tools and/or security domains in fast-moving environments.
