Senior Software Engineer - Onboarding and Integrations

 

Our opportunity

The Onboarding and Integration team makes it easy for customers to add Snyk into their environments. From the onboarding process itself, to the order in which we ask customers to do certain steps, to trying to reduce friction within the process through things like the Ignores workflows, which can be used to ease enterprise rollouts by allowing teams to work around problems rather than be completely stuck with them. The group also focuses on connectors for AppRisk, to easily ingesting data for both fully cloud customers and Hybrid customers.

The key persona concerning this group is members of implementation teams, and their pain points.

As a part of the Integrations team, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission, ensuring that our solutions are effortlessly woven into both fully cloud and hybrid customer infrastructures. Your work will involve developing connectors for AppRisk, simplifying data ingestion, and addressing the specific pain points of implementation teams.

 

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Actively developing and evolving the integration framework using modern programming techniques.
  • Collaboratively enhancing the onboarding process and reducing customer friction.
  • Building and improving connectors for diverse environments, facilitating easy data integration.
  • Contributing to architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
  • Upholding code quality through rigorous reviews, best practices, and an acute understanding of the challenges faced by implementation teams.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering their growth in integration development.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years’ experience writing code, especially in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • A strong commitment to code quality and constructive code reviews.
  • Passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and addressing complex integration challenges.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on understanding and solving customer integration pain points.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems

We’d be Thrilled if You:

  • Have experience in scaling SaaS applications, particularly in integration frameworks.
  • Have leadership experience, as a senior team member or in a formal leadership role.
  • Have been part of a globally distributed team.
