About the Role:

Snap! Mobile is looking for an Accountant, based in Seattle, WA, to join our growing team. The Accountant will work directly with our Accounting and Finance team members to support the monthly financial close process, as well as support daily accounting operations. Responsibilities include recording and processing daily transactions for accounts receivables, accounts payables, and other miscellaneous activity as well as assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements. 

Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Manage recurring invoices and subscriptions including follow up procedures
  • Process vendor payables and customer receivable transactions
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all revenue transactions and journal entries supporting ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements
  • Assist with month-end close procedures, including recording journal entries, preparation of account reconciliations and preparation of financial statement variance analysis
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual comparative financial statements, and assistance with preparation of board related materials
  • Partner with department heads to monitor and report out performance to plan including detailed fluctuation analysis
  • Support various external audit examinations and maintain appropriate supporting documentation
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting and tracking on various Company initiatives as requested by executive leadership
  • Other administrative work including processing checks and invoices via physical mail at our Seattle Warehouse
  • Opportunity to create and/or improve upon processes to scale for growth
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities in an Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 2 years of experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive, self-motivated, and self-driven individual
  • Determined, eager to take initiative
  • NetSuite, Stripe and ADP experience preferred

Required to be local to the Seattle, WA area

Compensation Range: $60- $70K Depending on level of experience
