Snapdocs is a rapidly growing company backed by investors like Sequoia, Y Combinator, F-Prime and Tiger Global. We're an innovative team taking on the extensive mortgage market, bringing scalable and sophisticated software to a pillar of the US economy that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. Today, 20% of real estate transactions are processed through our platform. As we expand our product offering to serve more customers, we need to grow our team with smart, hungry, and curious people. That’s where you come in…"

As a Senior Product Designer at Snapdocs, you'll play a pivotal role on our product team, focusing on a range of interconnected products. Your work will involve delving into complex systems and workflows, with a primary emphasis on identifying and solving challenges related to digital closings, our eNote product, and ensuring the scalability of our platform to accommodate a growing customer base.

In this role, you'll forge strong working relationships across the organization, collaborating closely with colleagues to drive innovative solutions. Partnering with our Lead Product Designer, you'll design user-friendly software that modernizes real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead highly complex projects, ensuring simplicity, completeness, usability, and quality.
  • Work with engineering and product teammates to define customer and business problems to be solved.
  • Influence the team's roadmap and objectives with user-centric input, ensuring they are feasible, measurable, and impactful.
  • Demonstrate and articulate a strong understanding of information architecture and complex user flows.
  • Take a comprehensive approach to product design, considering user experience and various states (errors, successes, dead-ends), and identifying connections between different products, features, and platforms.
  • Demonstrate and articulate understanding of layout, typography and visual hierarchy.
  • Manage and propose improvements to our component library and style guides, considering the future direction of our products
  • Run research studies and experiments, analyze the findings, and validate potential product changes.

Our ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of Product Design experience on B2B SAAS applications. You’ve designed highly complex, critical projects and can face ambiguity with curiosity and calm. You have a deep understanding of multiple foundational user experience tactics and tools such as task flows, journey maps, user research skills, prototyping and high fidelity mockups. You thrive when you work alongside your product and engineering teammates to define problems to be solved—and you use input from customers, the business, and our vision of the future. You’re always thinking about the holistic product, user experience, and potential interactions between different products, features and platforms. You can use layout, typography, and visual hierarchy subtly and effectively—and use those skills to critique and mentor other designers, so we can all grow our skills and design a better product for our users.

If you are located in NY, CA, WA or MA, the salary range for this role is $144,500.00 - $195,500.00. For all other locations, the range is $126,500.00 - $171,100.00. As a new hire, your starting salary will likely be between the 25th percentile and the midpoint of the range; however, all offers are based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
