SkyOS, our industry-first universal operating system for flight, provides any airplane or helicopter with a fly-by-wire flight management solution that significantly reduces the complexity of flying. Skyryse One, our first production aircraft powered by SkyOS, was unveiled in 2024 and features the simplest, safest, and most intuitive flight controls in general aviation.
This internship is based in our El Segundo office. As an Engineering Intern on our Software Engineering Team, you will take part in designing, developing and integrating our SkyOS software. You will be given projects and tasks to help develop, enhance throughput and develop tools for the flight software.
The 2025 Summer Intern Program will run for 12 weeks starting in May / June depending on your academic calendar.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design software logic in embedded C
Utilize scopes and logic analyzers for debugging and troubleshooting during hardware software integration
Support the development of tools that are necessary to retrieve and monitor critical data
Work with cross-functional teams to support requirement generation and SIL (System In Loop) testing
Analyze the throughput of software and brainstorm ways to improve it
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in a university pursuing your Bachelors or Masters in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar)
