Things you’ll be working on

Reporting to the UK Director of Sales, the Head of Hotels UK will take responsibility for leading a growing Sales team in a highly competitive market.

  • Managing a team of Team-Lead Senior Contracts Managers with direct reports, and other Contracts Managers
  • Maximising  new business development opportunities
  • Leading domestic chain relationships, building a great rapport enabling maximum revenue opportunities
  • Providing support and inspiration to staff members, seeking to motivate, develop and improve individuals and their teams within the group 
  • Motivating and incentivizing the team appropriately so that targets, KPIs and optimal working styles are achieved 
  • Continuously evaluating the sales team progress and provides coaching, training and development to maximize performance and personal growth
  • Monitoring/analysing sales performance and takes accountability for driving improvements in sales/revenue growth, sales productivity and sales quality (optimizing pipeline) versus our competitors  
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and exhibitions, and prepared to present the Secret Escapes proposition at events
  • Analysing the competition and market trends and work hand in hand with internal stakeholders to ensure Secret Escapes continued success

The deal breakers

  • Strong leadership skills and mandatory experience of managing a sales team
  • Proven track record of successfully increase sales within a business 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK Hotel market - previous flash sales experience and London market awareness is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a must
