Job Summary: Full Time Licensed Esthetician at our Plymouth and Edina Offices. The Licensed Esthetician will educate patients on the services offered by the practice and assist in growing the aesthetic business while maintaining a high level of customer service and delivering quality patient care.
Schedule: Full Time, 30+ hours. Monday to Friday. Plymouth: 3-5 days per week with coverage in Edina as needed
Essential Functions:
- Performing consultations and educating patients on options for skincare treatment.
- Provide a variety of skincare treatments, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser and intense pulse-light treatments, and body treatments, in accordance with practice protocols, scope, and accepted certification practices.
- Developing individualized skincare treatment plans.
- Extensive phone and in-person communication with patients.
- Document all patient encounters according to practice guidelines.
- Contact patients by phone and e-mail to follow-up after treatment, provide information on promotional specials/new treatments, etc.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the practices’ policies and procedures.
- If applicable, provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
- Recognize patient needs and customize individual care.
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Experience with aesthetic skincare procedures (Coolscultping, chemical peels, microneedling, Dermaplaning, lasers, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills over the phone, in written communication, and in-person.
- Able to prioritize tasks with attention to detail and able to manage various job duties simultaneously.
- Have a warm, inviting personality during the entire patient experience.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
Travel: From time to time, operational business needs (e.g. training sessions, emergency coverage issues, etc.) may require employee travel to alternate locations within a reasonable distance based upon Manager discretion.
