Job Summary: Bernstein Medical, a division of Schweiger Dermatology Group is looking for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant: Hair Restoration Tech. Medical Assistant Certification is required. Open to no experience but has an interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, and detail oriented with a flexible schedule.
There is a training schedule that will allow exponential growth in the hourly rate.
Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Monday through Friday: 8am-4pm.
Hair Restoration Tech/Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Assist in hair transplant procedures, including Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), with precision and care.
- Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Skillfully extract and implant hair follicles, maintaining the highest standards of safety and aesthetics.
- Monitor patients' well-being during and post-surgery, providing compassionate care and clear communication.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized surgical environment, adhering to all regulatory compliance standards.
- Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions, managing records and inventory with meticulous attention to detail.
- Engage with patients, building rapport and trust, and offering clear pre- and post-operative care instructions.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize operational processes and contribute to the clinic's strategic and financial goals.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Hair Restoration Tech/Medical Assistant Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Open to no experience, with preference for 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical environment, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a dedication to patient confidentiality and support.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new technologies and procedures.
