We’re seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our Insights and Strategy team to partner with and guide the Ads Go-to-Market teams. The Business Analytics team is responsible for driving data-driven decisions that impact our advertiser growth strategy. 

In this role, you will act as the analytical powerhouse that takes our Monetization team to the next level. You will work on providing our Ad Sales, Product and Marketing teams with critical data and insights that will drive our value proposition to advertisers. You’ll be charged with conducting in-depth analysis, generating insights and packaging findings for internal teams; identifying trends, and turning data into actionable insights that drive revenue.

This role is based out of our London, UK office.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for business analytics, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), data sources, and analytical methodologies.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation data analysis processes and workflows to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Conduct and interpret complex data analysis using various statistical tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Looker).
  • Write Advanced SQL queries to extract actionable insights from data to power business decisions
  • Translate data insights into clear and concise reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in business analytics and recommend their implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be comfortable presenting insights to an external audience
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a business analytics or data science role.
  • Strong understanding of data mining, modeling, and analytical methodologies with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Looker).
  • Ability to succinctly communicate insights to cross-functional stakeholders and guide them towards data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills – you’re articulate and engaging.
  • Experience with the marketplace dynamics in the Advertising Industry is a plus. Working with Sales teams is also a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
