Position Summary: RCLCO seeks a qualified Associate or Senior Associate for our Compensation Consulting team, with a strong preference for someone based in Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Denver, Austin, or Orlando. This newly developed role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role growing RCLCO’s Compensation Consulting practice, which specializes in benchmarking pay levels and designing short- and long-term incentive plans predominantly for commercial real estate companies. The Compensation Consulting team also oversees the 35th annual Real Estate Compensation & Benefits Survey, which is the industry’s most comprehensive compensation survey, representing over 400 companies nationwide. 

The ideal candidate for this position is a quick learner who is highly adaptable and detail-oriented, has experience in commercial real estate and/or compensation, and comfort with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. The role will include a range of tasks, and may look very different day-to-day, though can be highlighted generally as shown below.

Key Job Responsibilities:
•    Analyze large datasets in order to conduct compensation benchmarking projects
•    Work with project teams to prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to clients
•    Conduct research using in-house databases, public documents, and other market publications
•    Participate in client meetings and presentations and serve as a secondary contact for clients
•    Manage project timelines to ensure key milestones stay on track
•    Participate in efforts to drive continuous improvements and enhance teamwide processes, including the National Compensation & Benefits Survey

Qualifications:
•    Years of professional experience: 2-5+ years, ideally in a compensation, finance, or real estate role
•    Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related field 
•    Experience in compensation consulting and/or commercial real estate highly preferred
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•    Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
•    Professional attitude; a self-starter, a good time manager and a dependable "team player"
•    Passion for research, analysis, and problem-solving; attention to detail and accuracy

Estimated base salary range, depending on experience: $80,000-$135,000, plus annual bonus
