ABOUT RCLCO
Since 1967, RCLCO Real Estate Consulting has been the “first call” for real estate developers, investors, public institutions, and non-real estate companies seeking strategic and tactical advice regarding property investment, planning, and development. RCLCO leverages quantitative analytics and a strategic planning framework to provide end-to-end business planning and implementation solutions at an entity, portfolio, or project level.
RCLCO is headquartered in Washington, D.C. with offices in Los Angeles, Austin, Orlando, Denver, and New York City. Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, though everyone shares a passion for real estate and the built environment.
ABOUT the MANAGEMENT CONSULTING team
Working within the Management Consulting team at RCLCO provides an incomparable education in real estate. Members of this practice group have a hand in directing how real estate companies make long-term decisions about their enterprises. By working with real estate companies across all geographies, sectors, and stages of growth, team members develop a deep understanding of the different players in the industry, capital markets and how capital flows through the industry, market analysis and how to identify properties in which to invest, and how organizations and teams are structured effectively. Each client engagement provides the opportunity to peel back the layers of an organization, immerse yourself in its operations, think creatively about potential futures, and help clients grapple with fascinating, real-world issues.
The small but growing Management Consulting team leverages RCLCO’s resources and its 57-year history working with real estate companies, bringing a unique lens to its engagements relative to any other consulting firm in the space.
Management Consulting client engagements can involve any number of strategic priorities, including:
- Strategic Planning: Evaluate a company’s current state, help define a desired future state, and chart different paths from A to B
- Portfolio Strategy: Determine where to invest and in what types of properties
- Capital Strategy: Weigh different options funding those investments
- Organizational Strategy: Build a platform and structure an organization to execute a strategy effectively
- Compensation Consulting: Incentivize team performance and craft competitive compensation plans
- Executive Search: Identify and hire key leaders to carry out strategic plans
Case studies of our work can be found throughout RCLCO’s website.
