We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Professional Products and Services to lead a critical part of the business at quip. Our product marketing team will lead the marketing and consumer POV in the product development process and lead GTM planning with key stakeholders across Product, Consumer Marketing, Creative, PR, and Channel. This role will work closely with Product Marketing, Personal Care to ensure a cohesive and integrated experience for all quip consumers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives overall professional services (aligners + new services coming to market) portfolio narrative as well as new professional product and service introductions to ensure quip’s strong benefit-led messaging and to improve consumer behaviors in oral health.
- Leads foundational cross-functional assessment of market success, competitive landscape, and market viability as well as leveraging consumer segmentation, market research and cross-functional expertise to develop Go-To-Market plans.
- Develops a deep knowledge of our target market and is responsible for positioning, value proposition development, messaging, and naming in partnership with consumer research and analytics.
- Leads Go-To-Market strategy, planning, and execution with product, PR, all facts of marketing (Consumer, Provide,Performance, PR/Partnerships) and collaborates with Product Marketing, Personal Care to ensure our experience and messaging creates a seamless, integrated system for consumers.
- Drives claims development and works cross-functional to ensure product guidance, etc. are accurately reflected across consumer and professional communications.
- Owns messaging hierarchy of products and works closely with Product, Legal, in-house experts and PR to ensure accuracy and impact of all marketing communications across marketing and sales channels.
- Leads cross-functional product briefings for new product introductions, including Creative, Channel, and all marketing teams.
- Partners closely with finance and sales to assess market opportunities and financial projections. Post-launch, partners closely with merchandising (long-term business owner) to ensure changing trends in the business are addressed.
- Owns key marketing deliverables in the product development process including Marketing Requirements, Messaging Documents, and GTM planning.
- Key collaborator in the development of planning, process, and communications in Marketing Ops and Product.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years product marketing or brand management experience, preferably in professional CPG or B2B2C consumer tech categories.
- Experience with portfolio management and consumer research, including segmentation, NPS, positioning research, pricing studies, etc.
- Experience in collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders including channel, performance marketing, consumer marketing, product and consumer research.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- MBA preferred, but not required
