We are seeing an experienced DTC Channel Director to own and manage our Direct-to-Consumer sales channel. This role entails developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer experience, drive subscription growth, and maximize revenue. You will work closely with various teams throughout the company and report to the Head of Revenue.  

Base Salary: 160-190k 

This range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute a robust DTC strategy that aligns with quip’s business objectives, with a focus on subscription growth, customer retention, and revenue enhancement.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with other channel leads, with marketing, product development, CX and operations teams on a daily basis. 
    • Key to success in particular will be the ability to work closely with marketing on development of targeted campaigns and with operations to streamline processes, ensuring an integrated approach that supports the DTC channel’s goals.
    • Partner extremely closely with marketing to implement impactful marketing campaigns that are tailored to the DTC audience. Ensure promotional strategy is in lock step with other channel owners.
  • Build an industry leading end-to-end customer experience in partnership with Digital Product, CX and Marketing; Dramatically include CSAT and NPS, emphasizing subscription management ease, outstanding customer service, and listening to our community.
  • Oversee the channel’s P&L and KPIs; Partner with finance on budget & planning and forecasting; Maximize growth and retention with an eye on profitability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies; Continuously lead in adaptation and innovation of DTC practices to ensure quip competitive advantage. 
  • Lead and nurture a high performing team; Set clear goals, and encourage growth towards achieving channel and company success
  • Act as a true business owner, taking initiative and driving results. Make a meaningful and speedy impact on driving our critical DTC channel forward.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in DTC sales or e-commerce, preferably in a CPG environment
  • A proven track record in growing a subscription-based business
  • A strong attention to detail with effective prioritization and organization skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where self-direction and initiative are a key to success
  • Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with marketing and operations teams
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and consumer behaviors
  • A strong sense of ownership and drive, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Robust experience working with Shopify platform
