We are a fast growing startup looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to help take quip’s supply chain to the next level. This role is part of the Distribution team that aims to drive efficiency, cost, and quality. This role will work closely with 3PLs, Customer Experience, Planning, and Marketing teams. Your contributions will help ensure on-time shipping, minimal mispacks, and cost reduction. Your work will directly impact how quip performs and achieves important company-defining goals for growth, profitability, and customer happiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily e-commerce fulfillment and returns
  • Partner with 3PLs to ensure SLAs are met including on-time shipping and order accuracy
  • Build and implement solutions for fulfillment issues including order mispacks and transit time delays
  • Continuously improve cost, speed, and accuracy performance of our distribution network
  • Source and negotiate with parcel carriers to optimize speed and cost
  • Conduct 3PL invoice audits, resolve discrepancies and lead credits management
  • Own KPIs and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Develop and document a catalog of SOPs and best practices for each area of our operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years directly relevant experience (CPG operations and supply chain)
  • 2+ years of performance management with 3PLs and parcel carriers
  • Proven history of continuous cost and process improvement
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to keep digging until you have reached the best answer
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment where self-direction and initiative are highly encouraged
  • Strong attention to detail with effective prioritization skills
  • Comfortable making informed decisions with imperfect or incomplete information
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems preferred
  • Proactive and effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • You are customer focused - always looking to see a challenge through the eyes of our customers
