DESCRIPTION
At quip, we design and deliver delightful products and services that keep your mouth healthy and we are looking for a full-scale recruiter to help continue with this growth. The People Talent Team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help support the growth of our Engineering and Admin teams.
The ideal candidate will partner with our hiring managers and the People Team to build out creative strategies to find, attract and hire top candidates. You should be comfortable working alongside hiring managers and candidates, ensuring that expectations are exceeded and strive for the best recruitment experience. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and staffing needs for all technical roles. This position reports into the People Operations Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write, and post and maintain technical job descriptions
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms like Stack Overflow and Github
- Update and manage our candidate pipeline via Greenhouse or other ATS
- Responsible for recruiting for all Technical roles (IT, Engineering, Data)
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with tech professionals
- Compose job offer letters
- Partnering with hiring managers on developing a strong candidate experience
- Developing sourcing strategies along with the HR Manager
- Determine qualifications, experiences and skill set of candidates
- Own entire recruiting process from screening to offer negotiations
- Owning candidate experience -- guiding them through the hiring process and giving them the best candidate experience
- Acting as a brand ambassador when out in the market
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience working in a start-up and/or fast-paced environment
- Technical recruiting background required
- 4+ years of experience working in full-cycle recruiting for corporate functions
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
- Confident recruiting for data, engineering and IT roles at various different levels
- Knowledgeable in various recruiting platforms and e-recruitment tools
- Friendly and approachable
- Strong teamwork and ability to welcome differences when working alongside others
- Remarkable organizational skills and relentless drive to improve efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High personal integrity
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Work, Excel and PowerPoint
