MBA Summer Associate Internship Program - London

Position Summary

Putnam is looking for top performers to join our firm’s MBA Summer Associate Internship Program in our London office. Spend 10 weeks assisting with casework and gaining hands-on experience, while being exposed to the life sciences consulting industry. Joining Putnam as an MBA Summer Associate is an excellent opportunity to gain insight on the strategic issues that face today’s pharmaceutical companies, as well as specific changes affecting the healthcare marketplace. MBA Summer Associates will work in project teams of 4-7 individuals led by a Manager, Principal, or Partner.

Duties as an MBA Summer Associate include:

  • Prepare and conduct primary research with healthcare physicians, patients, and payers
  • Gather secondary research from clinical literature, internal sources, analyst forecast reports, and financial statements for key biopharma clients
  • Analyze client and market level data to help support client recommendations
  • Work with project team to develop client presentations and final deliverables

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate for the MBA Summer Associate program:

  • Currently enrolled in a top full-time MBA program
  • Educational background demonstrates success in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strongly considering biopharma consulting as a future career option
  • Prior experience in consulting or healthcare/pharma [2-3 years ideal]
  • Prior project and team management experience
