POSITION:
We’re looking for an energetic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial full stack engineer with a proven record enabling other engineers with DevOps solutions and custom tools.  You will take a leading role in designing, coding, releasing and supporting tools that decrease friction, waste and toil for other engineers. The ideal candidate has strong opinions on best practices and a track record of mentoring and delivering on new processes and technology to other engineers. 

We work in a fast-moving environment and provide the autonomy to innovate in your areas of expertise.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Current technologies include .NET (Framework and Core), Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, CircleCI, Octopus and Azure. We’ll be working to add Containers and Kubernetes in 2022.
  • Create and source tools to remove developer friction and assist in the automation of routine developer tasks.
  • Evaluate, document, and create examples/templates for new DevOps tools and practices prior to introduction to the broader engineering group.
  • Provide mentorship and best practices to other engineers on using custom-built and DevOps tools.

 

SHOULD YOU APPLY?

  • Extensive experience with .NET (or similar languages) and/or Modern JavaScript. 
  • Proficiency with building Docker containers.
  • Strong track record of collaborating with other software engineers to introduce new tools, best practices, and resolve friction.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices in a 24/7 public cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean software development principles, especially eliminate waste, build quality in, and create knowledge.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – we expect all our engineers to provide leadership at every level and to push to improve everyday.
