- Job Title: Manager, Creative Services
- Job Summary: The Design Manager will lead a team of designers on creating innovative and creative designs for various departments and needs across the organization. Projects categories include, but are not limited to: Products, Marketing, Event Graphics, Environmental Graphics, and Internal Corporate Requests in both physical and digital formats. Key requirements of this role include strong team management, project management, design expertise, and quality assurance.

What you’ll do
- Lead and manage the graphic design team’s projects and team members, providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring on-time deliveries
- Establish creative strategy and schedules for key design projects
- Provide art direction and creative guidance to both stakeholders and designers while ensuring high standards of design quality and business objectives are met
- Oversee the production and proofing of final products to ensure high-quality output
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders across the organization to collaborate, build, and maintain good working relationships
- Propose and implement initiatives that would improve workflow, processes, and designer empowerment
- Establish team goals and objectives that support the department’s strategic plan
- Demonstrates in depth conceptual and practical knowledge in graphic design, and basic knowledge of related areas such as marketing, event graphics and product creation
- Solves complex design problems involving brand integrity, cohesion, business strategies, and brings a new perspective on existing solutions
- Meets all department and corporate business requirements, including those regarding work hours, conduct, and teamwork
- Stays up to date with ongoing developments in design applications and new print/media trends and techniques to bring consistent innovation to designs
What you’ll bring
- Five+ (5+) years of relevant experience, plus a minimum of one (1) year of management experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth in successful design projects is required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Expertise in creative management.
- Functional proficiency in graphic design.
- Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Technical knowledge of the design, production process, print technology, and pre-press process
- Strong people management/partnership skills
- Project management experience and skills
- Understanding of marketing and branding principles
- Strict attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
- Demonstrates a high degree of creative originality as well as provide valuable insights to support business strategy
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $126,000.00 - $149,150.00 per year. The full range is $126,000.00 - $188,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
