The kind of person we're looking for:

If you are somebody who enjoys interacting with prospects and has a desire to begin a career in sales, this is the role for you. If you consider yourself curious and feel the need to learn everything you can when presented with a challenge, you will fit in well. This role serves as a unique way to gain sales experience and potentially further your career at Paytronix.

Demand generation drives overall sales by increasing the volume of our leads and qualified opportunities. Through outbound and inbound campaigns, we amplify the number of businesses interested in the loyalty, gift, and messaging markets.  From there, predetermined pathways create further engagement, and score leads based on their level of interest. When a lead reaches a given threshold, it is passed on to its regional sales representative as an opportunity. Demand generation is thus critical to fostering desire for our services and nurturing opportunities that are likely to close.

Due to the cross-functional nature of demand generation, experience in this position can form the foundation for rewarding careers in sales and marketing.

The kind of stuff you'll be doing:

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to design and execute inbound and outbound campaigns
  • This role requires a high velocity of outbound prospecting via cold calls and email
  • The bulk of our outbound efforts focus on webinars, presence at events, and light-weight email blasts
  • Use Salesforce, Outreach, Linkedin, and Pardot to manage and score leads (Training in these industry-leading tools will be provided)
  • Speak to and monitor the progress of prospects to qualify them as opportunities

The kind of experience you'll need:

  • BS or BA degree in an accredited four-year institution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to gain rapport with a wide range of personalities
  • Responsible, self-driven personality
  • Interest in a career in sales or marketing
  • A team player willing to grow in the role and progress their career in the company – a desire to climb the “ladder of success”
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

The extra stuff that would be nice:

  • Experience in the restaurant industry
  • You will bring a high level of energy to the team
  • Excitement around active coaching and mentoring from sales leadership

Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions.
