What you’ll be doing
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Preparation of financial slides for Board Meetings
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly analysis and explanation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet movements vs Budgets
- Work closely with the UK FP&A team to ensure alignment
- Bank Reconciliations and acting as support for Cash Book
- Posting Journals
- Business Partnering across multiple regions: Europe, North America, APAC
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Close collaboration with the settlement team in the UK and Serbia
- Preparation of regulatory calculations (e.g. capital adequacy)
- Monitoring and constant improvement of operational processes and controls
- Other ad-hoc tasks entrusted by Financial Controllers or Finance Director
What you’ll need to be successful in the role
- Logical thinking
- Written & oral communication
- Ability to communicate financial data to others
- Attention to details
- Able to demonstrate proactiveness
- Willing to learn new knowledge and skills
Technical/Functional:
- Fully qualified accountant ACCA/ACA
- Post qualified experience 3 years+
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets/modelling
- Experience using any of the big accounting software: SAP, Oracle NetSuite
