This Manager position is responsible for managing and organising the prospecting and lead generation efforts across the UK. You must be able to confidently manage a growing team of BDR’s with the appropriate training, coaching and motivation to enable the team to perform to their best abilities. The team is primarily responsible for sourcing new accounts and contacts, in order to fuel the pipeline by qualifying and generating leads by scheduling meetings for the Account Executive team. This position will report to the VP of Business Development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Streamline and centralise all of Payhawk’s growth efforts in terms of cold outreach
  • Optimise all outreach channels and strategies
  • Provide day to day coaching & professional development, including weekly 1:1, shadowing sessions, and training sessions with the team
  • Work closely with the VP of Business Development to align on strategy and performance
  • Reviewing and interviewing potential candidates for the BDR position
  • Track and communicate weekly progress and weekly goals to drive consistent performance

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manager managing outbound teams with excellent results, preferably as a BDR/SDR Manager
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft and Salesforce
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Comfortable with a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Courage and creativity to find new ways of generating business
  • Background of hiring, training and enabling team for success
