About the Position 

The Sales Division provides services aimed at increasing brand footprint through activities aimed at increasing merchants revenue and GMV for Paidy. The Relationship Manager 

  • Develops relationships with existing and potential merchants and partners to increase GMV, revenue, and Paidy’s brand recognition 

  • Creates new revenue streams through negotiations with merchants based on strategic initiatives.

  • Resolves merchant issues and create opportunities for new proposals

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement programs and projects to strengthen relationships with key merchants

  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for additional areas of synergy between existing merchants and Paidy and to increase revenue

  • Engage existing merchants to develop a better understanding of their goals and needs and share the information with other departments within the Sales Division

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Proven experience as a Sales Leader with exposure to Partner Sales 

  • Marketing experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of Fintech industry standards, technology, and overall business 

  • Native Japanese ability and Business English

  • Experience in making Sales Presentation and managing internal stakeholders to lead new initiatives
