Position Overview:

The National Accounts Manager will be assigned to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) within the Post-Acute Division to build the pipeline, sell the strategy, and drive adoption. This role demands a range of capabilities, including expert-level knowledge of the capital sales process, the ability to build a team of advocates within each facility, strong solution-selling skills, and the tenacity to ensure sales objectives are met on a quarterly basis. The National Account Manager is expected to conduct thorough information gathering and present our dialysis solution to buying teams across the Skilled Nursing environment. Additionally, the National Accounts Manager will work cross-functionally with Outset local teams to enhance the overall value of SNFs in markets nationwide.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identify key targets and build an SNF pipeline through focused efforts and challenger messaging
  • Increase awareness of Outset’s dialysis solution within the post-acute market, specifically targeting SNFs
  • Manage and support the complex sales process
  • Garner clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, marketing events, and Tablo demonstrations
  • Create a sense of urgency to address and close gaps in the sales process
  • Cultivate support from physicians, clinical staff, and administration for Tablo
  • Facilitate the effective transition of initial sales and installations to the clinical team to drive treatment volume
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Establish Tablo support teams at each Tablo location
  • Initiate contact with CEOs and senior leadership
  • Organize and oversee the sales process
  • Acquire expert-level knowledge of dialysis and the economic impact of Outset’s dialysis solution
  • Manage all communications and administrative follow-ups for the target market
  • Ensure adherence to the company's quality policy

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a preference for experience in healthcare or capital sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • A proven successful track record in capital medical equipment sales
  • Knowledge of the post-acute SNF market
  • C-Suite selling and Disruptive technology experience
  • Self-lead and motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships with key thought leaders
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, depending on account distribution
  • Sales management experience is a plus
  • Experience selling in disruptive environments and influencing behavior change
  • A history of success in introducing new technologies to the market is advantageous

Base Salary: $125,000 - Commission Target: $211,000 = On Target Earning: $336,000
