Engineering Manager (iOS)
OpenTable is the largest diner and restaurant network in the world. Our mission is to help people experience the world through dining. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join and help grow OpenTable’s Restaurant Operations team in Melbourne.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who is excited about software development and solving challenging problems. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and time management skills, experience leading engaged and productive teams, and a passion for quality product engineering with a focus on iOS.
The Restaurant Operations team is responsible for serving the needs of OpenTable's restaurant customers by providing cutting edge software tools that enable restaurant staff, general managers, and owners to effectively and efficiently manage their business. We work closely with a talented team of product and design partners and believe in an iterative approach to feature development, small slicing, and incremental delivery. We are always working to improve our processes and platform to best suit the ever-changing needs of our customers and the restaurant industry as a whole.

3 years experience leading iOS engineering teams
Familiarity with Core Data and multithreaded application architecture
Solid understanding of functional reactive programming concepts and MVVM patterns
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes
