Olipop is searching for a Sr. Manager, Marketing Finance to build and manage scalable analytics, attribution models, budgets, and ROI analyses to support our marketing team.  Our marketing team spans PR, Media, Partnerships/Influencer, Social, Creative, Shopper/Retailer and E-Commerce, and this role will be critical in ensuring that we are optimizing our spend and continuously learning and iterating on what is working.

In this role, you will need to get into the weeds and build reports, dashboards, and analytics to measure our spend and its effectiveness, but be able to quickly elevate and communication the implications and actions needed.  In addition to building, you will be asked to think critically and strategically about the implications of your analyses, and present the findings to our leadership team.  You will need to be an effective collaborator, able to support our marketing leadership team’s needs while also being willing to challenge perspectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role will serve as a business partner to our marketing organization, helping to support ongoing decision making, analysis in support of long-term strategic projects, strategic planning, annual planning, maintaining monthly budget and forecast models, and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to build and support marketing mix measurement models
  • Conduct analysis to measure effectiveness of marketing campaign and initiatives
  • Evaluate attractiveness new partnership, influencer, and other strategic opportunities
  • Develop and maintain monthly budgets with an ROI based view on significant investments
  • Support marketing leadership in budget allocations to align with strategic priorities (e.g. drive awareness, trial)
  • Build framework for, track and report on marketing KPIs on an ongoing basis
  • Support DTC e-commerce leadership in managing P&L and optimizing spend

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Analytical and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to build complex, detailed and high-quality models and step back to summarize the implications and recommended actions.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competency, with an ability to operate in an unstructured and highly dynamic environment
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses to simple insights.
  • Advanced excel experience required
  • Expertise in creating processes and tools to support budget process and profitability analyses
  • Experience in Marketing Finance for a CPG brand is highly preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in a combination CPG finance, consulting, investment banking or other analytically intense role, with an emphasis on marketing, is a plus
  • Prior experience at a rapidly scaling startup is a plus

 

Reports to:  Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

COMPENSATION

$135,000-140,000 base salary + bonus
