We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team of creative problem solvers at OBE in our Los Angeles office. Responsibilities include posting job ads, doing initial screenings, scheduling interviews and assisting with new hire onboarding. This person will partner with all departments to help ensure OBE finds and hires the most qualified people for our open roles. In addition to talent acquisition tasks, this person will assist the HR department with various people operations as needed. The position is temporary to hire.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Post job openings on professional sites, job sites and social media.
Review applications to identify potential candidates.
Conduct initial phone screens.
Schedule interviews with hiring teams and candidates.
Assist with management of OBE’s Applicant Tracking system.
Handle new hire documents (e.g. offer letters, new hire application, background check authorization)
Assist in building the new hire onboarding schedule.
Participate in recruiting events as needed.
Promote positive candidate experience throughout the process.
Provide assistance to the HR Department on people and operations tasks as needed.
BA/BS degree from a 4-year accredited university
Preferred Degrees: Business Admin, Marketing, HR
2+ years sourcing, recruiting experience desired, preferably for marketing projects and events, and/or creative positions.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills; friendly and approachable
Ability to effectively coordinate multiple work projects, adapt to changing priorities, and meet set deadlines
Familiarity with the entire recruitment lifecycle.
