This pivotal position resides with one of our Talent Solutions client where we have established a strong partnership. The role of NetSuite Engineer is focused on the dynamic needs of this client's success with NetSuite and other integrations as they are added.  This role plays a crucial role in serving as the company’s NetSuite Engineer in order to understand AWS infrastructure and how it impacts the ERP platform. This position is focused around not only how data is pushed in/out of NS, but also someone who understands processes/procedures to ensure the platform stays up to date with the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts using SuiteScript to extend and enhance the functionality of the NetSuite platform.
  • Integrate NetSuite with external applications and systems using web services, RESTlets, and other APIs.
  • Automate business processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy within NetSuite.
  • Customize NetSuite's UI by creating custom forms, fields, buttons, and lists to meet specific business requirements.
  • Adherence to proper SDLC processes and procedures
  • Provide technical support and training to NetSuite users, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing optimization of customizations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and implement tailored solutions within NetSuite.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Individual has at least 3-5 years of proven experience with SuiteScript development and NetSuite customization and re-platforming initiatives
  • Comprehensive understanding of landscape of web technologies and standards
  • Experienced with JavaScript, frontend JS frameworks, Sass, Handlebars, jQuery, AJAX, Gulp, Git, integrations
  • Good understanding of NetSuite’s architecture and API capabilities.
  • Experience in integrating systems and automating business processes in NetSuite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with people in a career where you will be stakeholder facing.
