As Account Supervisor on Consumer FAM (Food, Fitness & More), you are a team lead on running critical pieces of the business, managing account teams and being a client counselor. You are a key member of new business pitches as well as selling in projects to clients. The AS is drafting and creating programs and has a large hand in client budgeting. At this level, you are a key participant in hiring decisions and have a strong grasp of team and billable work as it relates to staff and client budgeting.
Responsibilities
Responsible for team deliverables and client communication
Have a strong grasp on account profitability
Create, review, and track budgeting
Set performance standards for account teams
Supervise and direct account teams on communicating client deliverables
Responsible for team updates on yearly plans and assignments
Provide strong editorial support
A problem solver for the team
A strategic voice for the client
Drive significant media relations activities, jumping in from a strategic perspective
Participate in staffing decisions (candidate interviews and hiring)
Maintain strong media connections within your practice
Lead client calls and meetings
Collaborate on budgeting programs
Actively participate in new business activities
Oversee special events
Requirements
4-5 Years of experience on an Account and on the agency side
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience managing a team of 3-4 direct reports
Prior experience working with fast-paced and start-up brands
Experience and/or passionate about the food and fitness space
