Job Summary
The Business Development Representative role will assist the Revenue Operations Team in facilitating the acquisition of new business. In addition to providing analysis and insights, this role will support the sales process enabling it to run smoothly and efficiently. Our work environment is fast-paced and collaborative; it requires someone who can roll up their sleeves and be a team player. This is a terrific opportunity to learn about a developing industry and grow within a rapidly expanding organization. This role will report directly to Sr. Revenue Operations Manager and work closely with key internal stakeholders, including the Directors of B2B and B2G, the VP of Marketing, Analysts, Finance, and other relevant team members.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and execute campaign reporting for the business development teams
- Make outbound calls to leads in accordance with Business Development Managers
- Create case studies, deliver insights, and be the subject matter expert on all things related to our suite of marketing solutions.
- Identify trends and develop recommendations for the business
- Run outbound campaigns with Marketing and Business Development teams
- Partner with our Sales teams to better enable their ability to sell
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including sales, marketing, customer success
- Conduct reporting and analysis on the business development pipeline, the market, and KPIs
- Assist in developing processes, tracking, and reporting for May’s CRM
- Support market segmentation and opportunity sizing
- Conduct research and benchmarking to recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures
- Attend webinars and industry events and bring learnings back to the larger team

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:
Required
- 1-2 years of experience in analytics, consulting, strategy & operations, planning, or operations
- Intermediate data analysis skills
- Powerpoint/ Google Slides experience
- Comfortable working across multiple projects & priorities and hitting deadlines.
- Proven track record of delivering insights to hit business goals and succeed in a complex and fast-moving environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across multiple platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to approach problems in a methodical and process-oriented manner
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong Prospecting skills and aptitude for sales
Desirable
- Exposure to the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry
- High growth startup experience preferred
