The Social Media Intern will assist in pushing the boundaries of what social media means for a creative agency. You will help to ideate, strategize, pitch, and create content for all MATTE social channels as well as in-house experiential channels (BLACK, FNT: Fight Night, etc.). You must be in-the-know about trends and developments in art, fashion, music, and social technology. The ability to think on your feet and spit-ball ideas on a daily basis is a must.  



Responsibilities (included but not limited to the following):
-Ideating daily social posts for MATTE Projects Instagram and maintenance of content calendar   
-Development of new, innovative content franchises for MATTE channels
-Research into trends in art, fashion, music, NYC culture 
-Assist in the development of content for MATTE experiential franchises including @blackbymatte, @fullmoonfest, and more
-Sourcing imagery 
-Writing presentations 

-Understanding of trends, filmmakers, designers, artists, and cultural happenings in the city and beyond
-Understanding developments in apps/technolog
-A breadth of knowledge of social accounts to follow
-Ability to draw inspiration from all mediums and see relation back to the role/social media/MATTE Projects
-Strong organizational skills/experience organizing social media calendars
-Ability to spitball ideas on a daily basis 
-Ability to focus on multiple projects at once
-Understanding of MATTE Projects as a whole
