Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, Simulation/Emulation

Magic Leap is constantly creating new prototypes, research devices, and other new platforms. As part of this work, we are exploring new silicon-based solutions, and we're seeking to expand our team working in SystemC, Synopsis simulation, Palladium emulation, and other similar pre-silicon areas. This person be involved helping to set up and administer simulation tooling, provide training and support to other software staff who need to run software on the simulator, and potentially support other front-end architecture and regression testing work. Experience with simulation under (and of) Linux platforms is especially helpful, as is experience with Jenkins, or other continuous integration and regression testing platforms.
Help deploy and utilize pre-silicon simulation and emulation tooling, such as Virtualizer/VDK, Palladium, HAPS, ZeBu, and other such tools
Design, author, and maintain software, often in C/C++ language
Participate in team code review process and meetings
Develop and maintain continuous integration, automation, and regression testing of software on simulation/emulation platforms
Develop and maintain software to help track key performance indicators both on the platform and in pre-silicon simulation/emulation
Author and maintain other Linux related software as able, especially scripting, build system, and automation tooling
Respond to internal support and debugging issues as needed
Industry experience with pre-silicon simulation and emulation tools, with direct experience with Synopsis simulation and Cadence/Palladium emulation preferred
At least five years of experience in the embedded systems field
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a Related Field (Master’s Preferred)
