As a BDR, your role will include competitive intel research, prospecting, sales pitch and presentations to prospective clients, contract negotiations, onboarding and organizational tracking for key corporate initiatives within the health and Medicare insurance industry. 

Prospecting will entail outreach to potential opportunities derived from researching and gaining intel from the industry, network, conference travel and social interactions through primarily email and video call outreach. With existing and self-generated sales decks, you’ll educate prospective clients on programs, systems, capabilities to help gauge value and set clients up for success by being a key player in growing our business by producing highly effective and personalized outreach campaigns.

Maintain active engagement with leads through informed, strategic, and creative follow-ups.

Partner with internal teams to identify the best customer profiles, screen potential account capabilities and set the greater team up for success. Work with procurement teams to ensure business decisions align with legal obligations. Maintain detailed organizational skills for sales tracking, documents, marketing materials, and activation pipelines through SalesForce, Microsoft programs and online internal programs.

As a driven sales leader, quotas will be tied to quarterly active revenue opportunities and yearly performance kickers, setting the team and company up for successful and impactful growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting through inbound and outbound activities to generate and secure high-quality leads
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to fill the partnership pipeline with qualified opportunities
  • Maintain complete control of pipeline, strategies, objectives, tabled opportunities and workload for visibility to the larger group to align with company initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Driven, enthusiastic and hard-working nature
  • Ability to form strong business relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the Health and Medicare insurance industry
  • Adaptive to company demand and shifting seasonality
  • Relevant education or experience in sales, preferably in B2B or B2C
  • Demonstrated persistence in following up with prospects
  • Track record of meeting set goals and objectives
  • Experience with CRM, Powerpoint, PowerBi, Snowflake and Salesforce is advantageous

The base pay range for this position in Colorado/New York/California is $50,000-75,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
