Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Singapore. This role will primarily focus on talent acquisition efforts, encompassing 80% of the responsibilities, while also dedicating 20% of the time to local HR operations. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier talent to support our organization's growth and success in the region. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling various HR operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient HR processes.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (80%):

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand the talent needs of different departments and business units
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and acquire high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct thorough screening and assessment of potential candidates, ensuring their skills, experience, and cultural fit align with the organization's values and requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates' profiles and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles and anticipate future talent needs.
  • Continuously monitor and improve recruitment metrics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to proactively address market challenges and opportunities.

Local HR Operations (20%):

  • Support various HR operational functions, including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
  • Assist in the implementation and compliance of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local regulations and company standards.
  • Address employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate HR-related information and support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure consistency in HR practices and contribute to global HR projects when required.
  • Participate in local market surveys to benchmark compensation and benefits to attract and retain top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong sourcing and networking abilities with a track record of identifying and engaging with passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HRIS software.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment targets and delivering high-quality talent solutions.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
