Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide expert advice on a range of subjects, including financial regulations, corporate governance, contract negotiation and aiding in strategic decision making.
- Compliance: Spearhead our efforts to comply with all relevant laws and industry benchmarks, including the development and periodic review of company policies to align with regulatory changes.
- Contract Review: Handle legal agreements, including client contracts and partnerships.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks within our operations developing strategies to minimize exposure.
- Dispute Resolution: Oversee dispute resolution matters, collaborating with external counsel.
- Policy Development: Play a crucial role in the creation and refinement of policies to uphold legal and regulatory compliance across all company activities.
- Legal Research: Remain abreast of legislative and regulatory changes within the financial sector that could impact the company, advising on adjustments to practices as necessary.
Qualifications
- Law Degree: Preferably a legal master's or higher; Qualification as an attorney in Taiwan or another jurisdiction.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in legal roles within the financial industry, particularly those with a focus on fintech or cryptocurrency.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English and Chinese.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of devising practical legal solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
