IT Manager, Regional – APAC Located in China
JUUL is seeking an information technology manager to join our global Information Technology organization. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters, interested in working in a diverse and face-paced environment whom can join our China-based APAC team immediately. This individual will primarily maintain information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.

What this job involves:

Team Management
You will be responsible for staff management by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. As a manager, you will need to accomplish information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Maintaining Effectiveness and Efficiency
You will be expected to maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. This includes directing technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Project completion should be achieved through timely resources and timetables coordination with user departments and data center. You will need to verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented, as well as preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.

Strategic Thinking
You will need to recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action. You will be expected to maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

You should be prepared to work and travel if required for overseas projects, and comfortable to work with various vendors to provide operational excellence and optimal users experience for the user community. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies will be valued.

Experience
You should be strong in ITIL knowledge, technical management, technical understanding of Infrastructure and Cloud. You will be involved in staffing, Hybrid Cloud management, developing budgets, coordination, strategic planning and quality management. We are looking for someone with good problem solving and information analysis skills. A MIS Degree and/or PMP certificate is preferred.
