ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for refining and scaling the Salesforce platform to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. The main responsibilities of this person will be to (1) partner with key business stakeholders and Commercial leaders to scope enhancements in Salesforce, and (2) manage our team of offshore developers to implement solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform which is critical to the success of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with business leaders and technical stakeholders to lead the design, establishment, and execution of the Salesforce CRM development roadmap
  • Meet regularly with cross-functional teams and their leaders to understand the needs of the business, then ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Lead a team of developers to deliver technical solutions for the ongoing needs of the business
  • Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing of ongoing project work
  • Assist in testing technical solutions to verify the functionalities work as expected for end users
  • Publish release notes and ensure sufficient documentation of new feature releases; assist in development of training materials and team training
  • Maintain end-to-end ownership of platform development, including business requirements, project milestones, delivery dates, and budgets

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years experience in Salesforce development (Sales, Service, or Field Service)
  • Expert level of knowledge in SFDC and integration experience with other enterprise application suites
  • Experience managing and successfully delivering on all phases of Salesforce projects including platform design, automation solutions, user experience, and reporting methodologies
  • Salesforce certification (Admin, Sales or Service Consultant, etc.)
  • Significant consulting/client facing experience (includes Director level and above)
  • Experience leading a team of technical developers
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with exceptional attention to detail

Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
