About the Role

The Country Manager for France will be responsible for overseeing all business operations and activities within the country. This role's primary focus will be on driving market growth, developing strategies that align with the company’s objectives, and executing marketing initiatives aimed at increasing market share and profitability.

The Country Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, user experience, and analytics, to ensure the successful development, adaptation, and launch of products and features tailored to the French market. You will also be responsible for monitoring financial performance, delivering regular updates to senior leadership, and ensuring our offerings meet local market demands.

A critical aspect of this role is maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. You'll need to stay ahead of local market trends, competitive actions, and emerging technologies to ensure continued relevance and competitive advantage. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with other country managers and cross-departmental teams to meet both local and global company objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with the International team to generate business strategies for our newly emerging French market and deliver on set targets/goals 
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and align the market roadmap with the overall business strategy
  • Work with the Analytics team to measure and quantify the impact of product improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to ensure the successful development, delivery, and launch of the product
  • Write specifications for product features, including creating mockups
  • Work with Customer Service team to respond to customer service issues
  • Work with the SEM team to develop campaigns for the local market
  • Craft consistent, reliable, and effective messages to engage customers
  • Conduct linguistic quality assurance
  • Work with Legal Department to comply with local regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Native French speaker or C2 level proficiency in French (CEFR standard) is required
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working with and writing for the French market
  • Deep understanding of the French market and ability to grow within that market
  • 3+ years of professional experience – Product Management, Marketing, Operations, or Analytics
  • Data oriented with strong analytical, organizational and implementational skills. Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to multitask, deliver results and work with a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
