Your Role at Impact:

The Business Development Manager, through a clear understanding of all Impact products, but specifically ACTIVATE, shall prospect, educate and secure operationally viable advertisers to support growth and achieve a targeted revenue goal. The role involves working with internal & external stakeholders to collaborate in identifying the target account buying centre personas in order to deliver the optimal revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Build revenue and surpass assigned quarterly & annual quotas
  • Accurately assess pipeline to forecast performance to sales leadership
  • Convey advantages through online or in-person demo of the platform
  • Educate prospects on ACTIVATE products, associated benefits, and build a business case
  • Collaborate within and outside of sales team to ensure successful client onboarding
  • Actively prospect new business to fulfill pipeline obligations
  • Actively engage with internal stakeholders to identify ACTIVATE specific growth opportunities
  • Accurately report pipeline performance and velocity to direct manager through proper documentation via Salesforce
  • Ensure customers are prepared to enter operational and onboarding queue for successful implementation
  • Constantly build knowledge and understanding of the influencer marketing & performance marketing ecosystems and how ACTIVATE plays a role
  • Maintain positive attitude, highlighted by persistence and curiosity
  • Be an expert in your product line and industry ecosystem
  • Achieve requisite NMRR goal as assigned by management
  • Build 4X of quarterly quota in pipeline phase through prospecting and diagnostic calls
  • Continually improve win close rate (~25% of all open opps)
  • Maintain forward momentum through deal stage velocity
  • Handle all aspects of the sales process from proposal through
  • Work collaboratively with ideation, execution, engineering and support teams to develop competitive proposals and innovative SaaS products that entice prospects and exceed client
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on influencer campaigns to brands and agencies
  • Share regular product feedback to the product and engineering team based off of client conversations and research


What You Have:

  • 2+ years of influencer marketing experience at an influencer marketing SaaS technology provider or agency is required

  • Experience and understanding of the social media technology landscape
