Role: CMS Manager
Location: London
ROLE MISSION
We are looking for a content loader/portal manager to support on one of our largest clients. The role will be based onsite at our clients offices in London. The main focus will be the management of an online customer portal, its article pages and emails.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
- This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently graduated from a marketing background - and has 1-2 years’ experience working through the upload and publishing of digital content and working with different platforms /CMS’s and stock lists.
- You are a dedicated Content Manager from the skill profile with experience in dealing with content management systems – including older systems. A plus, would be experience with Salesforce, but other systems/platforms are also required to be maintained.
- You have a good understanding of HTML which is essential, as you will be working closely with our digital designers to ensure their designs are uploaded and functioning properly on the platforms.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
This team serves as our client’s bespoke agency, working at the heart of their business.
Our team works across the following, but not limited to:
- Landing page and email design and code
- Digital Marketing
- Social Content
- Adaptations
- Commercialising Media
- Product and campaign assets
- Re-purpose and adapt existing brand toolkits to creative engaging fresh content
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
- Continuous support and control of content on online platforms (website, online applications, mobile app)
- Ensure content quality and up-to-date stock lists
- Planning, downloading/ uploading, publishing and maintenance of image, text and multimedia content on the CMS platforms
- Consideration of SEO guidelines
- Ensure change history and documentation
- Understand what makes GREAT content e.g. best practices for making ecommerce assets
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
- Experience working with beverage / spirits brands or retail/ FMCG brands
- Training for content managers, media designers, communication designers
- Experience as a content manager (at least 1 year)
- A passion for digital trends and interaction
- Strong technical understanding
- Skills in the areas of layout, web design, image editing, HTML, CSS
- Editorial experience
- Focus on details
- Experience in the application of various content management systems, self-employed and structured learning in new content management systems, Salesforce is a plus
- A team player and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships
- Benefit from experience in the field of editorial SEO/On-page SEO
