We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Director of Event Marketing to build and evangelize Hello Heart’s corporate events strategy. We are seeking a passionate leader who understands how events contribute to sales and marketing goals as well as company strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate must be a strategic advisor to sales and marketing teams but also able to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.

You will work with a cross-functional team of leaders to drive and execute event strategy with key players across marketing, strategic alliances, and sales - establishing vision, process, and ROI. Your work will have a measurable impact on the growth of Hello Heart. This hands-on role will require you to understand and manage the details of event strategy, planning, and execution including creating a compelling presence at a myriad of events.

This person will report to the head of enterprise marketing and will manage a team of event specialists. 

Responsibilities

  • Define a holistic event strategy and annual program budget that aligns with the company’s goals
  • Set the vision for compelling event presence and experiences
  • Collaborate with executives and team leaders across the company on strategic, high-visibility events
  • Work with various stakeholders in creating event-related content, including presentations, booth messaging, and more. 
  • Create a standardized process, budget, and planning (staff, giveaways, etc.) for events
  • Work closely with operations to track event ROI and contribution to the company’s KPIs
  • Create, maintain, and communicate a detailed calendar of events 
  • Experience developing strategic event programs and taking them to market including annual budget management and planning on behalf of multiple departments
  • Demonstrable understanding of all event marketing and planning phases including promotions, traffic drivers, staff training, logistics, KPIs and metrics.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and world-class vendor selection
  • Be the “go to” person for all marketing-related activity related to Hello Heart, partner, and industry events, both in-person and virtual
  • Flex your creative muscles and work cross-functionally on creative imagery and promotions for events
  • Coach a small team of event specialists

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of event marketing experience
  • 3+ years of people management and coaching experience required
  • 3+ years in digital healthcare and high growth tech strongly preferred
  • Proven success driving both virtual and face-to-face events 
  • Experience working with HLTH, Conference Board & similar conferences  preferred
  • Experience in a scaling company is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Experience with enterprise tools, including Salesforce, Google Suite, Pardot, Asana
