Harbor is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our growing Intapp solutions team.  The Project Manager is responsible for the success of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the scope as defined in the Statement of Work. Serving as the primary point of contact for client engagements, this role ensures consistent client satisfaction by providing exemplary leadership and professional, responsive service throughout the duration of assigned projects. The project manager is an effective leader with solid negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Must be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Senior Director of the PMO and can be worked remotely from anywhere in the U.K. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Manages all facets of the entire project life cycle – from requirements and implementation through testing, deployment, and handover to support.  
  • Resource Management – Leads a team of business users and technical professionals in a matrixed environment. Schedules assignments and tracks project tasks. Monitors progress and ensures team adheres to deadlines, identifying and removing blockers as required.   
  • Project Communications – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Timely and appropriate Comfortable with communicating across an organization, from senior business stakeholders to technical teams.  
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration.  
  • Leadership – Strong leader with the ability to influence decision makers and juggle various multiple competing priorities at any given time. Ability to manage upward. 
  • Risk management - Identifies potential risks and obstacles that could impede project progress and develop strategies to mitigate them. Manages escalations in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Financial Management - Responsible for keeping the project on budget. Provides customer billing, review of invoices and associated timecards, and addresses any client questions regarding invoicing. 
  • Schedule Management - Develops comprehensive project plans, setting clear objectives for the team, and oversees the end-to-end execution of assigned projects by monitoring and updating work-in-progress, and measuring requirement milestones against actual work-to-date.  
  • Requirements Management - Participates in requirements discussions and requirements gathering sessions. Ensures requirements are documented, approved, and compiled into client-facing and internal documents. 
  • Organizational Skills - Monitors the creation and upkeep of project artifacts and documents, including business and technical documentation.  
  • Intapp Solution – Obtains Intapp product certifications and stays up to date on the latest product releases.  
  • Consistently maintains > 80% of time spent on client-billable projects.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements: 

  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of experience and education 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or regional equivalent 
  • 7+ years of related experience with significant responsibilities related to software/IT project management. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role 
  • Proficient with version control, continuous integration, project planning, tracking, and estimation, budgeting, and release planning is preferred. 
  • Proficient with collaboration and project tracking tools: (Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, Intapp Time), and MS Project.  
  • 3+ years of experience with the firm’s services, and/or clients is ideal or prior experience in the legal software industry. 
  • Competent in the following areas: problem solving, customer-focus, communication, collaboration, organizational support, quality focus, and punctuality. 
  • Authorized to work in country of residence without restriction or sponsorship. 

Physical Requirements:  

Prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain when performing a high volume of tasks and performing other essential duties. Work occasionally requires more than typically scheduled work hours to perform the essential duties of the position.
