Join Our Team: Assistant Teachers Wanted at Guidepost Montessori Baymeadows!

Are you ready to inspire and empower children ages 0-6 to develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning?

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Assistant Teachers (Guides) to join our mixed-age Montessori classrooms for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 3-6).

In a Montessori environment, teachers are referred to as Guides. They carefully prepare and maintain a classroom designed to spark curiosity, foster independence, and promote learning. Guides provide individualized and small-group lessons, introduce children to materials, and enrich their experiences with precise language and support.

The result? Children thrive in an environment where they have the freedom to explore, work on activities of their choice, and develop confidence, skills, and a deep sense of capability.

We are looking for an Assistant Guide who is passionate about supporting children in reaching their fullest potential.

Your Responsibilities as a Guidepost Assistant Teacher

  • Observe and understand each child’s needs.
  • Maintain a beautiful, orderly environment that supports independence and focus.
  • Deliver individualized and small-group lessons tailored to each child’s development.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and cultivate a respectful, collaborative classroom community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children ages 0-6.
  • A passion for nurturing the growth and development of young learners.

What We Offer

  • A chance to contribute to a high-quality Montessori program tailored to individual child development.
  • Fully sponsored Montessori diploma training and ongoing professional development through the Prepared Montessorian Institute.
  • A 75% tuition discount for up to two children at any of our schools (serving ages 3 months to 12th grade).
  • A supportive network of peers and mentors who value your contributions and share best practices.
  • Abundant career growth and promotion opportunities.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.
