As we prepare to open our newest schools, we are looking to add flexible substitute guides to our on-call list. This position will support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No formal Montessori training is needed to apply. We will provide training as part of your orientation and on-boarding.

Locations include: Roseville and White Bear Lake

Your Role

This is an on-call position where we will reach out to you as-needed to provide coverage when full-time teachers are out sick or on vacation. 

The Substitute Teacher role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes ultimately transition into part-time or full-time Assistant or Lead Teachers with us when new openings become available. Minimum Qualifications

  • First Aide and CPR training
  • High School Diploma and at least 18 years of age
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Have a valid state background check
  • Warm and friendly demeanor 
  • Preferred if you have early childhood college credits
