Description of Duties

The Finance Systems team is seeking an experienced Netsuite Systems Manager with strong functional and IT support experience to join the team. In this individual contributor role you will be responsible for administration, configuration, and support for our Netsuite ERP system and associated Finance Business Systems. Additionally, you will be a Finance Systems thought leader and champion of best IT/functional practices, IT General controls, and process improvement automation. Reporting directly to Sr Director of Finance Systems, you will collaborate closely with Business Application, Sales Operations, IT, and our Finance team. This position is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Netsuite System Administration

  • Own day-to-day operations of NetSuite, and other Finance Business systems including hands on user support and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and support the NetSuite ERP system, focusing on Financial, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Zone billing modules
  • Perform system configuration, customization, upgrade and maintenance along with compliance in change management, ITGC, and SDLC processes.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, custom fields, and scripts.
  • Manage NetSuite integrations with other business systems.
  • Oversee user access management, SOD Reviews, and annual/quarterly review process to resolve segregation of duties conflicts.
  • Oversee the governance, change management, end to end maintenance including general ledger accounts, cost centers, products, and any other necessary structures to support the reporting needs of key stakeholders. Manage ticketing system for tracking open cases/change request to resolution 
  • Optimize system settings, workflows, and customizations for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.

Program Management

  • Manage/Configure finance transformation projects focusing primarily on the order to cash cycle, encompassing Lead/Opportunity, Contract Management, Quoting/CPQ, Order Management, Revenue Recognition, Billing, Credit, Collections/Disputes, and Cash Application processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal,Engineering, Finance and IT to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance business processes.
  • Identify, scope, and prioritize projects based on business needs. Develop detailed project plans, including approach, timelines, milestones, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery.
  • Manage and communicate changes to program status, risks and dependencies. Identify, assess, and transparently escalate program issues / conflicts and suggest resolutions.
  • Define data-driven frameworks and processes to identify, measure, and manage program success, focusing on business value, including benchmarking.
  • Help develop scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting
  • Ensure procedures, processes, and proper change controls are followed on all production changes and implementation projects
  • Lead process improvement related to Finance tools, including creating and driving an adoption strategy for new and existing tools, automation and process transformation
  • Work with sales operations and biz app teams on system enhancements.

 

Dashboard Creation and Reporting

  • Utilize NetSuite's native tools and our very own Grafana dashboard to create high-performing dashboards tailored to Finance needs.
  • Develop reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights from finance data.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer Science, information technology, accounting, finance or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience with as a Finance System Administrator with Netsuite  and financial systems tools such as Zip, Avalara, Expensify etc
  • Hands-on IT support experience, including troubleshooting and resolving functional & technical issues.
  • Experience with data migration, data mapping, and data integration within Netsuite including the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module, Salesforce integration including CPQ
  • Administrator-level knowledge of privileged access, content groups, multiple charts of accounts, dynamic approval chains, custom objects, tax codes, tolerances, custom workflows, supplier configuration, and report building
  • Knowledge of ITGCs and experience working in SOC, ISO, and SOX compliant environments
  • Demonstrated experience integrating accounting systems with Salesforce / SFDC, ideally including CPQ and experienced level with Netsuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
  • Experience with project management concepts and tools such as Github, Monday.com and Miro. 
  • Sharp analytical skills coupled with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues with ease
  • Knowledge of core accounting processes such as order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, hire to retire
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work in a rapidly changing global and remote environment
  • You work well in both a team environment and independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak cross-functionally

In the US, the Base compensation range for this role is $135,000 - $162,000.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here.
