Description of Duties

We are seeking a Talent Development Partner to join our amazing remote-first and people-first culture at Grafana Labs. Please note that this is Talent Development (L&D) and NOT Talent Acquisition. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating talent development programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of our Grafanistas around the globe. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with leaders, managers and team members to identify general talent development needs, create tailored development plans and learning content, and drive initiatives that help us develop and retain our talent. We’re a small and scrappy team so this individual will also be a quick learner and willing to pitch in and/or own just about anything that comes their way!

Responsibilities:

  • Program Design and Implementation: Design, deliver, and evaluate talent development programs, workshops, and initiatives that address the identified needs and skills gaps across the organization.
  • Learning Initiatives: Collaborate with internal and external resources to curate learning experiences, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning modules as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, metrics, and analytics, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve offerings. This includes running reports as needed and partnering with People Analytics.
  • Systems and Vendor Management: Maintain learning content and learning paths within our learning management system (Docebo), pull reports from Docebo and from other systems like our coaching system (Better Up) as needed. Build and maintain relationships with our outside vendors and partner with procurement as needed.
  • Knowledge Management: Help maintain the knowledge for L&D and for People Management on our internal wiki, create SOPs as needed for L&D team knowledge.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including executives, People business partners, and department heads to understand their general talent development needs and skills gaps and align initiatives accordingly.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development and talent management, and integrate them into our programs and practices
  • Change Management: Support organizational change efforts by providing talent development interventions that align with change objectives and promote a culture of agility and adaptability.
  • Facilitation: Lead learning sessions, workshops or team building activities, as needed, enhance skills, knowledge, and behaviors aligned with Grafana Labs' core values and competencies. This may include supporting our monthly co-located onboarding program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, HR, OD or related field
  • 3+ years of training and curriculum/course design experience with strong instructional design skills focusing on adult learning with at least 2 years in a senior role
  • 3+ years of experience leading corporate learning and development projects
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $94,000 - $113,000.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here
