As the People Operations Manager, you will work with the People team to deliver a world-class employee experience to team members at Gradle, manage the Ops/HR Assistant and report to the Head of People. 

Responsibilities

  • You will drive company-wide initiatives, manage the U.S. HR operations and a direct report
  • Manage the process for the company-wide engagement survey, performance reviews, trainings and HRIS system
  • Issue employment contracts and onboard employees 
  • Process payroll, manage 401k administration and benefits working with our PEO Sequoia One
  • Administer Gradle’s equity program utilizing Carta while working with the General Counsel
  • Serve as primary contact and partner with employees/managers at all levels and across teams on HR related activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. labor and employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee employee experience events and Gradle’s annual company offsite with support of the HR/Ops team 
  • You will work closely with the Head of People, Operations & HR Assistant, General Counsel and department leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR, Business or Operations experience
  • You are experienced working with team members across all levels of the organization 
  • Highly detail oriented, efficient and a problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with total discretion
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional and worldwide distributed team
