Role Overview:

You will be the acting design lead responsible for overseeing the design and user experience (UX/UI) of our AI web and mobile apps. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of user interaction, visual design, and how to integrate generative AI seamlessly into user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for both web and mobile apps, from concept to final implementation.
  • Develop a strong, consistent visual identity and user experience across all platforms shareable/extensible to other teams through our shared design system.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flow diagrams to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Work with our user research team to conduct discovery, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Partner with product and engineering to elaborate and develop the overall UX strategy
  • Ensure AI features are designed with transparency and usability in mind, enhancing user interaction with the AI system.
  • Lead, mentor and guide more junior designers, setting design standards and best practices for the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to continuously innovate.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Design Lead, UX/UI Designer, or similar role with a focus on web and mobile applications.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, for both web and mobile form factors.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and how AI can enhance the user experience.
  • Experience in leading design and mentoring junior designers.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Solid communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in AI/ML-driven projects or understanding of AI’s impact on UX.
  • Background in designing for industries like HR.
